Spring / Summer 19
Every now and then, you need to put an end on things, said the Period. Sometimes, even a pause to catch a breath is enough, stated the Comma. You can’t be creative without any excitement or inherent curiosity, said the Exclamation Point and Question Mark simultaneously.
You can bypass me without disturbing normality, whispered the Parenthesis. My role is secondary, illustrative and useful of course, but nevertheless an extra.
On the contrary, it is you that I need in a leading role at the moment, said the Poet. Just you, alone, shining instantly. For you are my magical moment. I need you to create a recess, a time-out, rejuvenation. I need to know you are there to give meaning, but to also give me the comfort that all shall continue as before when you are done. So I’ll dress you elegantly, but with a tinge of the less ordinary, because I crave excitement. I want you to be simple yet unexpected, geometric yet polymorphic. If I stretch you, you’ll become stripes and if I compress you, a circle. You are not only a breath of fresh air but an influencer as well.
I will dress you, then fold your lines and pack you in my suitcase.
