The Concept “Kami & Kage” (Gods and Shadows) is a meditation on the forces that shape us: the divine and the destructive, the bright and the broken. Inspired by the vivid worlds of manga and the ancient symbolism of tarot, this collection captures the eternal dance between opposites – not as enemies, but as twin energies that give our lives depth and dimension. We all carry light. We all carry shadow. Fashion becomes our armour, our expression, our ritual – a way of choosing how we move through that tension. This collection wraps that journey in dark and sacred hues: the deep velvet black, the royal blue of intuition and royalty, the ‘off black’ & dark grey tones of shadow and self-protection, the quiet strength of soft grey a space between extremes and the whisper of white, symbolizing clarity and hope. Together, they become more than contrast – they become dialogue.

Each look in this series channels an archetype: the Fool’s hope, the Magician’s will, the Tower’s chaos, the Empress’s grace. Through layered textures, sculptural silhouettes, the rich interplay of royal blue and black & the different shades of grey, we explore what it means to be whole in a fragmented world. Yet, the message is not one of despair. Even as shadows rise, the light endures. The gods within us – courage, compassion, empathy, resilience – are quiet but relentless. We dress them in fabric and form, give them shape in colour and cut.
